Individual and Family Support Services (IFSS) provides support to people with developmental disabilities and their caregivers. This innovative program serves to maintain independence and community placement for individuals served primarily through advocacy, education, facilitation of independent living skills, and provision of diverse stopgap services such as short-term respite care. Assistance levels vary but include case management, outreach services and respite coordination. Each individual is assigned a caseworker who establishes a close working relationship to assist with identifying needs for service planning.
IFSS serves individuals with a variety of disabilities, including intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, and brain injury. Supports provided extend throughout Camden and Burlington,counties in Southern New Jersey. IFSS staff enhances living and learning through attentiveness to individual strengths and abilities and fulfillment of personal life goals.

Personal Supports Program
The Personal Supports Program at The Compassionate Care Givers Inc., provides a broad spectrum of supports to individuals with special needs, ranging from outreach assistance and case management to 24/7 supervision in the individual’s own home. Additional services such as nurse monitoring and behavioral interventions may also be provided. This very special attention and care is given to ensure that each person’s needs and preferences are respected well.
The Personal Supports Program also assists individuals served in becoming actively involved in the community. Special efforts are made to establish ties with local churches, civic organizations and clubs to encourage interaction and participation.
